Here we go again! Once again this year, the Alba International White Truffle Fair, starting on 11 October, will be one of the most eagerly awaited events of the Piedmontese autumn, attracting food lovers, curious visitors from all over the world and food and wine professionals eager to discover the ‘diamond of the earth’ . The Alba White Truffle World Market

The beating heart of the event, the World White Truffle Market takes place in the Cortile della Maddalena, where expert trifolau display the best fresh specimens harvested in the surrounding woods. Here, buyers can take part in guided tastings and receive assistance from qualified sensory judges. Each truffle is certified to guarantee its origin and quality, in a ritual that emphasises the value and sustainability of harvesting.
During the fair, Italian and international Michelin-starred chefs take turns in a series of cooking shows and gourmet events in local restaurants and wine cellars.
