Description

Discover the magic of glassmaking in Vietri sul Mare: a journey through artisanal excellence, the art of handcrafted work, and the promotion of the local area, sponsored by CNA.

This itinerary will take you on a journey to discover Vietri sul Mare, a small town in the province of Salerno, famous for its ceramics and majolica—a prime example of “Made in Italy” artisan craftsmanship.

TOUR DETAILS:

Day 1 – Upon arrival at the hotel, we will check in. Afterward, you’ll have free time for individual sightseeing. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.

Day 2 – The next day, you’ll be taken to an artisanal pottery workshop for a hands-on experience. After lunch, you’ll head to Cetara to visit a farm that grows lemons, and then return to your accommodations.

Day 3 – On the third day, a shuttle will take you to Salerno, where you’ll visit a restoration workshop and the magnificent cathedral with a local guide. After lunch, you’ll discover the artistic Nativity scene by Master Carotenuto and the crafts at the Bottega San Lazzaro, before returning to the hotel in the late afternoon.
