Things to Do and See in Imperia

Definitely worth seeing is the village of Apricale, one of the most beautiful in Italy and a TCI “Bandiera Arancione” recipient, located in the hinterland of Bordighera and dating back to the Bronze Age. It was here, in 1267, that the first “Statutes” of Liguria were drawn up to establish the rules and foundations of communal life for the Ligurian people. The “Laghetto dei Noci” in Molini di Triora, along the Argentina stream, is particularly beautiful, offering spectacular scenery, as is the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Holy Sepulcher and Mary the Child in Rezzo. However, the Principality of Seborga (Museum of Musical Instruments, Piazza San Martino, and the Church of San Bernardo) and the many curiosities of Borgo Triora—with its tales of witches and ghosts—are still must-see attractions.
