In the lower part we can find the Baptistery dating from the tenth century and the Cathedral, while the upper part is the historic core of the city full of medieval atmosphere and valuable buildings. At about twelve kilometers north of the city lies the Sacro Monte di Oropa, UNESCO World Heritage Site, imposing religious complex inspired by the Marian cult of the Black Madonna. Other places of tourist importance are, in the mountains of Valle Cervo, the Oasi Zegna, natural area educational purposes from which start the Zegna Panoramic, touristic scenic road that allows you to enjoy spectacular views and in spring offers beautiful blooms of plants and shrubs.
