The seafood is the undisputed protagonists of the cuisine of the province of Catania: seafood salad made with octopus, shrimp, seafood marinated anchovies, salted anchovies kept in typical earthenware container, peppered mussels. The meats are present in the hinterland, where you can taste excellent equine and pork beef cooked on the grill, with vegetables and genuine cheeses. It could not be absent a classic Sicilian cuisine, the famous arancini, crispy rice balls with heart cheese. Among the desserts, not only good to eat but also nice to look at, we find the cannoli filled with ricotta and decorated with dark chocolate chips or candied fruit chopped or finely chopped pistachio, Sicilian cassata, the marzipan pasta. And yet, ice cream and slush almond, lemon, orange, chocolate, mulberry, fishing and coffee. Among the wines we note the Etna Red, White and Rosé.
