Latina it is certainly interesting because it provides insight into the recent history of the peninsula. At the center of the town, there is Piazza del Popolo and the main buildings, including the Police Headquarters, the Prefecture and the City Hall. While, on St. Mark’s Square there is the Cathedral of the same name, completed in 1933, with a facade divided by three arches supported by pillars. Another interesting site is the M building, a monumental building in the form of M, the first initial of Mussolini. In the rest of the province also worth visiting the neighboring countries, like Sezze, Borgo Podgora, Montenero, Borgo Isonzo Borgo Le Ferriere, Borgo Piave and Borgo Montello. While on the coast, you can the town of Sperlonga, a medieval village where you can admire the cave of Tiberius, a cavity open to the sea where remains have been found dating back to the first century and now kept in the National Archaeological Museum. Also, very beautiful are San Felice Circeo and Formia, overlooking the Gulf of Gaeta and Terracina, dominated from the temple of Jupiter Anxur and characterized by the Town Hall Square, where you can see the medieval cathedral dedicated to St Cesareo. Finally, we may want to go to Gaeta to visit the beautiful town that includes the castle and the cathedral near the port, dedicated to St. Erasmus, without neglecting the Church of San Giovanni dominated by the beautiful spherical dome in Arabic style.
