The city of Vercelli is the capital of the province and is its largest town. Advancing towards the mountains you arrive at the resort of Alagna, home of the major tourist center with a remarkable development of winter sports facilities that allow all kinds of activities, but especially the freeride skiing (off-piste skiing), which Alagna is the capital. Finally, for those who love walking in the mountains, the Natural Park Alta Valsesia offers multiple paths that can also be used by mountain bike. Staying on the plains similar possibilities are offered by the Regional Natural Park Lame del Sesia.
